Strong disagree. The online cottage industry of dismissing this song wouldn’t exist without the cover versions. Sure it’s a direct love song but it’s beautiful. It serves a purpose on a very complete album.

All brushstrokes in a masterful painting. Beautiful musical interplay and vocal delivery in every one. Cold irons bound stands very tall as well.

I didn’t even know anyone had covered to make you feel my move until a few years ago (other than Billy Joel way back when). Essential album track to me in line with Standing in the doorway, Not Dark Yet etc. Future covers irrelevant.

Hard disagree here. TOOM is one long, wholly unique soundscape, like one song with 12 parts, a sonic world of its own. Each breathtaking ballad has a hard blues to rough up the edges before the next tender mercy. L&T, also brilliant, doesn’t chase me down in the dead of night in same way. Just my 2c

So good you caught this! My mother and her sister both get this.. each time a spot shows up they have it removed and life goes on. Hopefully your treatment knocks the whole thing out.
