Mostly happy. I probably don’t know half of what’s going on.
Mum had a DNR but when she went it was final.

Tricky questions.

I don’t suppose they’d just flip a coin?

We’ve seen a few exceptional plays - Nye with Michael Sheen, Dr Semmelweis with Mark Rylance, the Fifth Step with Martin Freeman and Jack Lowden

I love theatre. You never know how it’s going to turn out. But you always leave thinking more about the world than when you arrived.

I was in the audience for this and sneaked a couple of photos.

It was excellent!
I did have a man with a head the size of Jupiter in front of me, but still a great show.

It is a devastating play for sure.
Earlier in year we’d been to Auschwitz exhibition - so it connected very deeply.

We were due to see it in summer before Covid. Then theatres shut. Daughter was at uni but knew she’d be home for Christmas and knowing nothing about the play, I knew we’d all be together at Christmas. They caught ‘flu so wife and I went and sold spare tickets half price to couple waiting in queue

Our local independent bakery produces some excellent ones but their price is through the roof.

We’ll probably succumb before Christmas.

You’re what they call a “Pie on ‘ere” I think?

We saw this live on Christmas Eve.

It’s not exactly the most Christmassy of plays but my god is it powerful. The cast are superb - playing multiple parts pretty much simultaneously.

Just seen this. We had the same. It was when the hot water was on and it was a jammed duo-valve that’s meant to switch when boiler heat goes round radiators or round the hot-water circuit. Had it a couple of times about 10 years apart. The radiators get boiling hot. Quite alarming.

I think that’s the answer then - hopefully

Really weird. It would make me worry too. it’s probably innocuous enough and the package suggestion seems good. I don’t know if you have a door camera at all? Maybe it’s a mouse?

If only more of us had a list like that 😀
November 12, 2025 at 8:18 AM
That’s worrying. I wonder if it could have been carried in on your shoe?

In the hall suggests maybe a visitor to the door dropped it?

Why does everything need to be labelled? The font is just one up from Comic Sans.

False nostalgia isn’t as good as it used to be. High cholesterol? I guess that’s why they call it the Peak District? Or is that because of the curtain twitchers?
