You have inherent value and deserve respect from all that you meet, but many are focused on themselves. Begging others to care is a lost cause. Instead, care for others first and cut out those who do not appreciate nor try to reciprocate your efforts

What I admired is his use of the sounds of the rainforest, the constant sight of the never-ending Amazon river, and having Klaus Kinski creep about in the background the entire film to essentially drive the viewer insane alongside the characters. It's a hard film to forget.
