I saw LeBron in his first year and about 25 times since. Is this the last one?

When o moved to Toronto 22 years ago, it wanted to be a big city. Now, it is a big city.

155th (150th canceled by Covid) anniversary of Assumption HS in Windsor with about 1000 people.

Let me tell ya, the 2 of us at 6'7 killed it in the early 90's on the court and Ryan is still coaching volleyball at Penn State.

One more for the day crowd. Boat still stuck. The fact that it is the Paul Martin and it's directly in front of downtown Windsor is fairly hilarious.

There's a 700-foot ship stuck in the Detroit River. My photo is terrible but it's way closer to the US than normal. Not close to the channel

My wife (the second biggest Jays fan I know) went with my 80-year-old aunt (the biggest Jays fan) tonight.

My aunt has had season tickets for every season the Jays have existed. Never missed a home opener. No way she was missing tonight.

My subway station. This was started in 2021. It was originally supposed to be finished in 2023. It's a single elevator.

GO JAYS, I suppose. (The things one does for love)

And definitely Fuck Trump, which was the prevailing opinion during the anthem

Detroit Tigers best line-up and only one to use the rest of the way.

Being anti-fascist is now terrorism in the US.

I might never go back.

No one person has had more influence on my life than my son. His birth made me an adult, and really set in motion everything to come. I was 24.

Now, at 24, he's off to start his own life, moving across an ocean. Last night we had our last one-on-one dinner.

I'm a proud (and a little sad) father.

Barbara Kingsolver's novel deserves the accolades, including the 2023 Pulitzer.

Though I felt it occasionally tried to do too much, it's a brilliantly-written exploration of the drug crisis, the institutionalization of rural poverty and a cycle of bad decisions made by individuals.

Montreal permanently closing a big chunk of Rue Sainte Catherine and tuning parking spots into teeter-totters is brilliant

Gotta say I was really impressed by Rogers Stadium last night. It is more like a "grounds" like an English soccer stadium. Lots of stuff outside, but surrounding the actual stadium.

TTC in and out was easy and well managed.

My only complaint would be that it was a hike to the toilets.

I can say with 100% certainty, and I apologize to the author, but there is zero chance I read an Amazon award-winning book
