Is he willing to 1) pick out a suit 2) pay for a suit 3) have suit altered to fit 4) keep suit cleaned and pressed 5) find two acquaintances who can be relied on to do the same 6) be willing to make pleasant small talk 7) thoroughly clean one room, a bathroom and a kitchen?

Some years back my wife and I were driving aimlessly through the fog on blueberry barrens in Maine when we came upon a Mexican restaurant. Everyone was Hispanic except us -- presumably migrant laborers. The food was good.

As a boomer parent I'm sure we're losing track of the niceties, but still trying to pull it together for Thanksgiving and hope you'll be with us while you can. On the other hand, I remember feeling the way you do! Especially the high sound volume.
