Number the Stars is another one of her books that really impacted me.

My answer is also L.M. Montgomery but Emily of New Moon. I really related to her in being raised by a cold and often cruel woman, her imagination but also her loneliness.

My sisters and I were obsessed with this book growing up! The Emily of New Moon books are my favorite followed by Pat of Silver Bush. I do love the Anne books but they are much farther down the list.

Babe it’s one job. Doing the work of three people because I can’t get our staff. Making the point that government is not bloated.

Hence why I said over 😃 I get paid for 40 hours a week.

11/22/63 is the only one I have ever read because I also don’t like horror. But it was so good that I am considering dipping my toe into horror.

though I am a department head, feel like I am dying of stress every day but go off about the people lining their pockets. As if the millage rate will even remotely cover COLA not to mention insurance premiums. Public servants are not in the money making game!
November 23, 2024 at 2:40 PM
Yes! There was an extremely small millage rate increase for the first time in almost ten years where I work and people on social media were saying oh the cars in city hall about to be fancy. Dude I work over 40 hours a week doing 2-3 jobs because I can’t get more staff, don’t make six figures even

I absolutely agree with this.
