Speaking of the personal library my partner and I have we are at 1,345 books according to BookBuddy app (but it does count some series as only 1 book if they came as a box set with the same ISBN) this is between Children’s-Adult books, Manga, Graphic Novels. Not the Comic Books. #homelibrary

Working on shelving the personal library (sticking to shelving only the Novels and Manga/Graphic Novels) books that are part of a series are getting packed away for now. (Not enough shelves)…. can I have a book fairy please… I’d be happy with just 1 new book that’s part of a series or manga a month

Just finished reading Gender Queer and loved it! (Started and finished it today) Currently also reading The House in the Cerulean Sea. Recently finished The Woods All Black, which the ending took me a bit by surprise. This puts me at 12 read books this year (manga, fanfic, books). Woot!

Finished A Discovery of Witches and Half Bad, would say that’s not bad progress. Need to get Shadow of Night to continue the All Souls series but I have Half Wild on hand so woot. So I’m at 9 finished books this year (10 if you count the fanfic) and it’s just the start of April.

Finished The Duke and I, while getting occasionally distracted by a BL K-Drama my partner is watching & being the good future hubby and asking questions (since I just started noticing 2/3rds of the way into the series). I’ve got a little over 4 weeks of leave left, gotta make a huge dent in the TBR!

Progress today… finished Food Wars season 1, and so far made it to page 197 of The Duke and I, haven’t made any additional progress on A Discovery of Witches (pg 116) or my other current reads (Stalking Jack The Ripper, The Forbidden, The Screaming Staircase, and a HP Fan Fic) 😅 maybe tomorrow

Redecorated Cham (“Cam”) and Cal’s enclosures. Hopefully they like them 😅 my post-op surgery brain said they needed a redecoration cause they looked bored. Cal very much said “I’m gonna fight this brush” and Cham was like… “uhh no” before they went into temp containers for the redecoration.

Surgery was Monday and even though I’m suppose to be resting and healing over the next 6 weeks I felt like a short trip to the used book store today was 100% needed… 😅 did I use up a majority of our store credit… yes but we walked out with like 23 books which I feel like is helping the healing

Finished The Last Flight and Artificial Condition! Replaced them with A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness (borrowed from the library). Next 6 weeks I’m going to have a lot of free time, so let’s see how many books I can read while healing.

Did I binge watch the entire Lockwood&Co. tv show… yes! Why did they cancel it!? >.< it’s fine now I have all 5 books to read (thanks to the library!) did I also binge watch Half Bad as well… yes! Did they also cancel it after one season… also yes but I have a hold on the trilogy at the library.
