He wants the public to break so he can label the chaos as “riots,” invoke the Insurrection Act, and deploy the military against his own citizens.

1️⃣ To eliminate the filibuster. That’s the last procedural barrier stopping him from having complete control. Without it, there would be nothing to slow him down — no checks, no balance, no minority voice to stop authoritarian laws.
