I haven't watched it in 15 years, so don't hold me to my opinion, but I liked it back then. Certainly better than the 2011 version!

Same, same. I will have to watch Jane Eyre this weekend - the 1996 version where Rochester's sideburns are a main character.

That really sucks...I feel like left out because I don't look into fandom elsewhere 🙃 but after hearing from others how toxic it can be, perhaps it's the best to stay in a happy bubble away from such fights! Whatever you decide, do it for you! 💕
