To know me is to know I LOVE Lionel Brockman Richie, Jr. I pre-ordered his memoir as soon as it was announced but she’s thick! Almost 500 pages. I think I might have to wait for the winter holidays to dive in. Doesn’t mean I love Li-Nel any less 😂

And the summer of side quests continues. I love to bake but I wanted to up my cake decorating skills. I might have to keep making delicious but ugly cakes because these are supposed to be pumpkins & flowers. Instead they look like aliens.

I HATE the way streaming apps replace the song you added to your playlist with the version they think you should have. WHY would I want a house version of a Public Enemy song on a playlist called Ride Out??? Why would I want it at all?

I haven’t been tracking my reads oh Goodreads or StoryGraph this year but I wish I was so I could tell everyone to read Lola Jaye’s The Manual for Good Wives. It tells parallel stories of a woman & her 4th great grandmother. I only wish more about the generations in between was shared.
