Worth the read! Beautifully written with really diverse characters, although the pacing is a little slower towards 3/4ths of the way and the romance is a little fast. (Makes sense after the last reveal perhaps)

Ning was such an interesting protagonist! All the characters really complimented the story and all had diversity, and unique motivations! I freaking loved it!!!

The first initial introduction of the plot was really good, with great pacing and interest. It ebbed about halfway with all the small moments between Kang and Ning, I didn’t really feel their connection too well.

TEN-THOUSAND PERCENT YES!!! The writing was so beautiful, like painting a picture stroke by stroke. It stood out to me the most, besides the concept.

It is written so beautifully! The setting is gorgeous and the concept unique. Worth a read for every fantasy book fan, just goes a little slow in the beginning.

Very intrigued at the turn of the plot and eager to see what was going to happen next, so I started the second book right after. It’s a nice pick up of pace and a decent cliffhanger.
