The Mighty Red was well-written, but it wasn’t the right book at this time.

The Briar Club was eerily timely, so much that I took pictures of passages and had me googling and reading Wikipedia entries.

James lived up to all the hype & is deserving of all the awards. Hell Bent, the sequel to Ninth House, was fantastic & I hate that I have to wait to see where this series ends up. Colton Gentry’s Third Act surprised me & Guilt and Ginataan manages to stay cute even though it’s fifth in the series.
