Whenever I see a media story about #influencers it’s usually about a scam, sex trade , manosphere or another scam .. or mostly vacuous pointless ‘content’ .. and this is a career for many . I follow very few ‘people that post things on YouTube’

I’m confused, the world is told how America is richest country on the planet , the ‘best place in earth’ but 42m need food stamps to subsidise huge profits for tech bro’s . I wonder if food aid will be diverted from Gaza / Sudan to feed Texans while pop stars who mime fly to space ? #snap

I use both X and bluesky … x seems more European in terms of feed , bluesky ( for me ) is very American based .I’m not a fan of badly drawn anime . I block, mute, flag and hide as not interested but it keeps puking terrible anime scribbles. I don’t know why unless any interaction is positive?

Currently going through #thesopranos , whenever someone is smoking a cigar I can’t help but think how horrific it must’ve been to sit through that stench , how they’d have to shower and wash their clothes constantly .. scrub the stains off their fingers and teeth. Horrific . #cigars
