Academia has moved from "doing things" to "talking about doing things".

It is disheartening to see that everything is relentlessly moving toward the abyss, with nothing seemingly able to stop this rapid course. Everything feels the same as a century ago: an economic crisis, an invasion, a pretext, an arms race... inevitable.

Trying to set up a study with a cognitive neuroscientist looking at the perceptual experience of music via fMRI. I realize that researchers from humanities "need" researchers from hard sciences (to confirm or make researches more robust) while the other way around does not always hold.
