Retired Political science dude. Here for ecology, nature, defending wildlife and saving dogs. Amateur historian, everything North Carolina. Carolina football and basketball, Miami Dolphins football.
So I guess they’ll focus on things like meeting fascists halfway, reaching across the aisle, groveling in hopes of being spared to serve.

Doctor said, “best MRI results ever. They’re gonna have to get a better machine to measure how perfect I am.”

I agree completely. I watched all 10 episodes, and found it infuriatingly entertaining, despite the heavy-handed reactionary politics. Paramount seems committed to the formula though, Yellowstone is much of the same. Liberal simp enviro having ecology explained to her by common sense rancher etc.

… degenerate, radical, dangerous, lunatic America-hating scum garbage enemies of the state. I hate them. They’re responsible for all the violence, with their calls for civil war.”

And yet, he gets platformed by the NYTimes as “edgy,” “countercultural…” just another reason I’m so glad I don’t give them any money or read any of their garbage.

Okay, have it your way. Each and every expression and manifestation of racism is exactly the same. Go forth, continue to grow and learn, grasshopper.

I said first thing: “there was plenty of racism. But it was different.” I stand by that because I lived through it. How old are you? Were you there, or just pulling stuff off Wikipedia? Please.

Are you from North Carolina? (Can’t speak for the other Carolina).
I know exactly what I’m talking about. What are you talking about? Do go on.

There was plenty of racism, but it was different. The open, proud racism was rare, at least compared to today. Racism was something to be ashamed of, and overcome. Lots of paternalistic racism for sure, as opposed to the mean-spirited kind.
