Mostly here for NUFC and pictures of lovely pints
Having a lovely Easter beer in Carcassonne because, well, why not?

Am trying to avoid Facebook as it's pushing loads of pro-Trump shite at me. But I do like the memories feature - which tells me I was in Ukraine 12 years ago for #NUFC vs Kharkiv. A trip that cost less in total than the staggering £313 that Northern want for a Preston to Newcastle train today 😬

Half-time in the Steve Bruce derby. I was here for Stuart Pearce's NUFC debut in the 90's. A pre-season friendly that he really did not treat as a friendly...

Pre-match pint. Fitting that our first match without Miggy is against Ful-ham...

Expecting a tough game for NUFC today. Would love to batter Fulham though, largely because they gave me a seat with this view last year.

Good NUFC win today. Still get the shakes thinking about being 1-0 up on 85mins at the Dell and managing to lose 3-1 in '95(?). Celebrating with a lovely pint in Poznan. Roll on Fulham, very much enjoying the Jacob Murphy purple patch, btw.

I know it's the right time, but still a bit sad to see Miggy go. Wonder how things would have been if that shot against Huddersfield had gone in. One of very few bright sparks during the Bruce era #NUFC

On reflection, #NUFC were poor today, but Bournemoth were very good. Fair play to them and we move on. Will have this lovely pint instead of enduring match of the day. That said, the ref was abysmal (although I have to admit they would still have won)

Went to St James' Park fully expecting to see intensity, pressing, skill and a red-hot striker. Got all of that. Unfortunately, it was all from Bournemouth. Fair play to them (begrudgingly). #NUFC

The downside to supporting #NUFC and living in Preston. Up at 5.30am for the 6.20 train home, which is cancelled as soon as we get to Central Station. Cheers, Northern Rail.

Have lost count of how many games have been Miggy and Dubravka's final games... #NUFC

£18 for a 2-pint glass of beer at Co-op live but tbf it was good beer and Paul Heaton was incredible (obviously)

A lovely (£18!) pint of IPA before Paul Heaton. Pricey but incredibly excited to see Paul Heaton

Could have (should have?) been 6 or 8. Lewis Hall superb again #NUFC

Customary pre-match Lebanese at the ever-excellent Wafl Lounge. Last 3pm Saturday match till February... #NUFC
