I don't celebrate genocide, colonial displacement of Native people, and denial of Native American history. For those of you who do, Happy Thanksgiving.

Tomorrow marks another day celebrating genocide and dispossession of Native American lands. The Pequot Massacre of 1637, which the colonists celebrated as victory. The following reel demonstrates how this sobering fact is remembered by most Americans.

I just saw that three members of the most inbred family in the United States, the Whittaker's, were forcibly removed from their home. Now that they are unseated as first place, how will that affect the Trump family standing? Keep in mind that the female spawn has had countless plastic surgeries.

In these troubling times, take a moment to count your blessings.

Happy Veterans day to all of us who chose to serve. Something Cadet Bone Spurs and his cowardly spawn will never be able to experience the pride of knowing what it feels like to serve.

One of the dumbest questions I was ever asked about living in Mexico was, "am I afraid of being kidnapped". I happen to live in the third safest city in all of North America. North America, Canada, The United States, Mexico, (some include Central America).

Every time that I see the Voladores de Papantla perform with no wires or safety nets my heart literally stops.

I always like to stay at the Gran Hotel in Mexico city. The original Tiffany glass ceiling was installed in 1906. Great views of the zócalo from the room. Don't forget to visit Maximilian's Castle in Chapultepec.

A client who was heavily involved in animal rescue asked me to pay homage in a sculpture to a rescue panther who died of old age in one of their sanctuaries. She also wanted a fountain out of the norm where we had filled an unused broken down pool. My Cantera guy from Querétaro delivered.

What a great honor to have worked with an incredible Bovedero in San Miguel de Allende. He and a crew of 3 started in the morning and finished in the evening. Truly masters of their craft.

Trying to ignore all of the bullshit dragging down the human psyche. I made sopes and they always lift the human spirit. Find something that brings you joy and do it.

As a devout Atheist living in a devout Catholic country, my lifelong fascination with religious icons was reignited. There are so many talented craftsmen and artists here and I have used them on my projects and in my own home as shown. Respect other people's beliefs. Reward people's talent.

With all of the crap going on in the world, do what you can to make it better. A simple dog rescue (I have maintained a VERY large 4 footed rescue family). This is Lalo before and after, who I found on a freeway near Dolores Hidalgo. We can't save the world, but trust me, you can save a pups life.

A fun day cooking things from my garden. The chicken met this morning, asked for forgiveness. Everything is pueblo fresh.

Chicken piccata and pasta with pesto.

The only food that they allow the Gringo to make is tamales and anything that is non-Mexican. Their family recipes are ancient.

Loving the slight change to cooler weather here in the Yucatan but really missing my years of seasonal changes marked by the sound of Camoteros starting late afternoon.

Is it ugly? No, it just has not been given a chance to shine.

A ruin!? I don't think so. I can save it.
