I swear, the war on Christmas starts earlier and earlier every year.

I’m not saying that we should encourage them but I feel like natural selection will sort this all out for us.

It’s pretty clear that we’re a long way away from even the loosest definition of fascism. But I’m curious about your take on the prospect of the current administration consolidating power with the goal of instituting an alternative form of authoritarianism…. If that is their goal.

Republicans have been rewarding stupidity for decades. It’s in their DNA now. Let’s not forget Bush Sr’s VP.

The responses to this common sense post illustrate how far the left still has to go in terms of effective messaging. Slogans like this do more harm than good. They cloud the argument and provide the opposition with easy and effective counter points. You’d think we’d have learned from the past.

Came here to say the same thing. Unless I’m mistaken, State disability benefits have income requirements. Her salary would no doubt disqualify her for those benefits. That said, the real estate tax exemption may be legal but it’s not entirely ethical.

Pretty pathetic response. I’m sure you know more than Ortiz who tried to help him and was rebuffed multiple times. Keep crying over a man child who thought he was more important than the organization until he realized that he wasn’t.

Consistently refuse to complete assignments at work until you’re asked nicely and see how long you still have a job. This isn’t kindergarten. The man signed a contract and was paid millions to play for the Red Sox… not just to be a 3rd basemen or a DH. Ortiz was right and maybe he learned a lesson.

Appreciate the observation, but what we’d really like from someone in your position is a plan of action.

My wife had this last year. She’s a high school teacher and she was concerned about the stitches and possible scarring because HS kids can be ruthless. She turned it into a life lesson for them and used it to warn them about the risks of tanning beds ahead of prom season. It’ll heal and so will you.

Considering that I wouldn’t hire a Trump supporter to clean my gutters, this one is a no-brainer.
