like most inventions, it's an incredible aid if you use it as a crutch rather than a replacement for one's own critical thinking. The trend, however, is leaning towards the latter.

the consensus amongst me and other peers is that the "craft" is dead. I feel disconnected from code and my passion is for the industry is at an all time low. Thinking of an exit plan, maybe a second sabbatical. Who knows.
