Outstanding “Hands Off” march here today in Anchorage. Conservative estimates were at 4,000 people. The excitement was infectious and the mood was both joyous and resolute.
Photos below were taken 1/2 hour *before* the event started.
Thank you to Action Alaska, Stand UP Alaska & 50501 Alaska.

Quincy is coming out of his shell. Reading aloud to him is really helping. Biggest success I am having comes from playing with him. I’m learning what he likes and, based on that, I went to Michaels & bought pipe cleaners, feathers and some thin wooden dowels. Hope I can draw him out even more!

Looking south from Hatcher Pass (about 20 miles north of Wasilla, Alaska). In the far background, the tallest mountain is Pioneer Peak. My brother, Don, & I drove up there yesterday.

Meet our new buddy, Quincy. A 5 year old cutie who lost his human and cat buddies in October. We adopted him 2 weeks ago and he’s learning our routine. Loves pets, brushing and being read to. Welcome!
