TL;DR the world is so chaotic & violent & teenagers witness or are involved w/ so much of it that i think any teen-appropriate space worth their salt should have mechanisms in place to discuss this stuff instead of erring on the side of censorship, which is what the commercial label of "PG-13" does.

ofc adults are not immune, but at least some of us have the tools to look at everyone's attempts to keep us in perpetual adolescence & go "fuck off".
