At 5:30 PM next Tuesday, 11/4, in room 302 of the UGA Journalism building, I will be speaking at the Teach-in on unionization arguing for automatic elections to select union representatives, equal employee representation on corporate boards, and a federal job guarantee wiping out unemployment.

Just finished reading Hans Fallada’s Every Man Dies Alone (Jeder stirbt fur sich allein). Perhaps, as Geoff Wilkes suggests, a testament to “the banality of good”, but an unforgettabe saga of the cruel challenges to be faced resisting fascist tyranny. Too timely.

The US lethal attacks on boats in the waters off Venezuela are extrajudicial killings that constitute war crimes. By authorizing these lawless attacks, Trump, Rubio, and Hegseth are war criminals, as are the military personal who have carried out these illegal murders.
