When I plant sunflowers on purpose, they never do well, but every year an accidental, bird-seeded specimen will pop up in the garden and thrive 😅🌻

Nasturtium-chomping caterpillars have metamorphosed into lots of beautiful large white Pieris brassicae butterflies. This one needed rescuing from the garage, and posed obligingly for a photo before being release.
