Interesting article. Can't speak to the trend as a whole (I'm married and too old, and not terribly interested in baseball), but the scene the author sets takes place on 5/17, & maybe that particular night's MLB had something to do with the turnout at the restaurant?

The premise was intriguing but while wading through all of the exposition and repetition (and bickering btw the 2 main characters), I kept waiting for some good jump scares (I mean, look at the cover art!).

That's the sweetest tribute (quite) I've ever heard. So sorry for your loss. I am picturing your Zoey meeting my Luna on the other side of the rainbow bridge. She was a dear, kind soul too.

Whatever you need to do, I'll understand. I will still need my "Sunday serotonin boost," i.e., cooking a pot of your beans. Sometimes (and I'm not exaggerating) it's the one thing I can zone in on to blank out everything else.
