Why do we need Relay + GraphQL when we have server components?
Let’s frame these technologies as “executable specifications of your app’s data requirements”. Server components are a bit more powerful because they can render UI as well, but it’s mostly bringing data to your code.

I’ve been working on a full-stack JS framework that incorporates a lot of lessons learned from 4 years at a startup building a data-driven app. It’s all in on Relay and GraphQL, and should be able to fully replace Next for similar use-cases. More soon!

Worked a bunch on the EDHTop16.com GraphQL API today! Added some niceties for Relay clients, you can paginate everywhere now, and exposed the full decklist card data. It’s getting pretty close to fully documented and stable, looking forward to seeing what people can do with it
