The scene where the mannequins break through the shop window and shoot the policeman on his bike came on, and my daughter squeaked and ran to hide behind the couch until I stopped the show. It really brought back my memories of my childhood watching Dr. Who. And it was very cute. 2/2

One of the fond memories of my daughter's childhood: She was quite young... 4? 5? I was watching "Terror of the Autons" (BBC America was having a Who marathon, IIRC) when she walked in and was standing around kind of watching it with me. I was enjoying it's cheesy goodness... 1/2

What if I feel an intense compulsion to figure out how pivot tables work? What does that indicate? Is it an emergency?!

I can't wait! Enjoy the time off. Maybe you can spend some of it creating some hip-hip videos @roywoodjr.bsky.social can show to @amberruffin.bsky.social - we know how she loves those! 😄

Oh, Lord... the hours and hours I flipped through books of literary criticism essays, searching in vein for quotes to support my thesis. No cut-and-paste, either. Maybe a copy machine, if I was lucky.

How cool! Frankly, I think it's criminal we haven't gotten more She-Hulk. Everybody on that show was batting 1.000!

I think it was my favorite, too. I was a big fan of the John Byrne "She-Hulk" run back in the day, and the series had a lot of those beats, IMO.
