It should be very clear to every Senate Democrat that any vote for Cloture will also be considered a vote for the bill.
People aren’t going to be tricked with procedural games.

Why? Because others will see you do them, and it will make it easier for them to take their own (slightly less lonely but equally beautiful) action by your side

I'm all for non-party government "leaders". If a party wants to endorse a person, fine. But you CANNOT run as an "insert affiliation here". Our citizens are more complex than two parties' platforms can demonstrate.

AOC, I respect the hell outta ya. But I do agree with many folks that if the Dem leaders can't anticipate and counter organize, why should we support you. THIS IS WHY MORE THAN TWO PARTIES NEED TO BE IN CONGRESS ✊✊✊
