They always told us roundabouts were good for traffic flow but I knew they were lying to us

I looked at and chuckled like "oh that looks bad" and then I thought some more and was like "but actually how do you do it"

Don't worry, I'm the one who opted in to a conversation about mucus

I wonder if I'm doing it wrong because I've never gotten it to work. It either doesn't go in at all because my nose is too clogged or it goes through fine but I don't feel any less congested after.

Hi, I bought these 2 prints from you at NYCC, and I just want to say that both pieces are amazing in so many ways. They perfectly capture the show's vibes, and the character art is both perfectly on model and rendered in your own beautiful and detailed style.

I just got home and realized that the only appropriate place to hang this Dungeon Meshi print is in my kitchen.

I also have this fear sometimes. I try to tell myself that it's not possible to recall the provenance of every single piece of information/data in my brain, but I still wish I could.

Not to cause you even more worry, but my first paranoid thought in a situation like this is, does reverting the UI actually turn off the feature, or does it just remove it from the UI?

Unfortunately your true competition will be Crack-a-Barrel, whose business model is coming into your store and cracking your barrels open and taking the crack, and then delivering it to customers a la Uber eats.

It's so funny because he's introduced as the servant of a demon, so of course he's got to be evil, right? But no, he's just a cat that does cat things and occasionally delivers some mail.

I doubt the people who came up with those "theories" knew anything about the actual history of either Earth or any other planets, but it's interesting they're kind of, sort of, onto something, if you squint a lot and turn your head sideways.

And even the thicker atmosphere thing is vaguely plausible as well. Mars is theorized to have been stripped of its atmosphere by solar winds, which means its atmosphere used to be thicker in the past. This doesn't happen to Earth because our magnetic field deflects the solar wind (luckily for us!)

I keep thinking about this one because it's so tantalizingly close to the ancient earth reduced gravity thing. Earth's gravity didn't change over time, but something else major did change BECAUSE of gravity.

Also if you want some good general science podcasts, I highly recommend both "Let's Learn Everything" and "That's Absurd, Please Elaborate"

If there's any common theme here, I think it's that the truth of the universe is weird that "ancient earth reduced gravity" doesn't even sound that weird by comparison.

Also, how about a parameter of the planet that HAS been changing gradually throughout most of Earth's existence? The length of a day. Because of tides, which are caused by gravity: www.artsci.utoronto.ca/news/why-day...

Probably the best place to start would be the Kurzgesagt video on neutron stars: www.youtube.com/watch?v=udFx...
