I wanted to love the Suede album (since they are my favorite Britpop act) but just couldn't. The Saint Etienne album has some great moments - especially "He's gone", "The last time", and "Glad".

Far too soon..and that too on Christmas. This guy is hands down one of the greatest Shakespearean tragedies in pop music.

Listen Without Prejudice, as a whole, might be aging better even though it did NOT have anything that smoldered in the way that Father Figure did and still does.

His demise on Christmas Day accentuates the happy-sad element of this song. Gone too soon. I am glad I at least got to thank him in person a little over 20 years ago.

still feels like a twisted dream...so much incomplete material out there by him that will never the see the light of day..I think there are only 2 more fully completed songs in the vault.

Guessing that's the Too Funky CD single by George Michael with the Crazyman Dance b-side? I also love "Kiss to kiss" from the Cher album in your photo.

This has aged better than a LOT (not all) of Faith. I wish he had led with Soul Free instead of "Praying for time" but I guess he was going for a far more serious image this time.

Yes, definitely Magic Hour - super jazzy and VERY unlike anything he has done in the past. We've been playing this one more frequently since it is new. Glad you liked it.

Thank you for tuning in Julie! What Richard Marx song did you discover? Hopefully you discovered something new that you actually liked - and where are you tuning in from?

incidentally, IF (and no pressure to do so), if you tune in to our broadcast and the first few songs do NOT suit your taste, and it leads to you to tuning it, please, if possible, let us know the songs that led you to tune out. Once again, no pressure!

his debut album, in particular, has some great song. I would start with the following - "The Last Emotion", "Drowning my sorrows", and "It's better this way".

God bless your heart. These artists earn nothing through on-demand streaming so thank you for buying this. "Magnetized" and "Wide awake" are great albums. We play a bunch of tracks from these albums on our radio broadcast. Their debut album is also far more amazing that folks give them credit for.

You know these guys are still making music right?
