#RightTimeOT: OT in Scotland 💚
The Scottish Government's Population Health Framework focuses on community-based care. OTs are already working across these services to reduce health inequalities, save money and improve outcomes. To grow community-based services, OT must be central to future planning.

🥳Yesterday I was up in sunny Aberdeen for a celebration and plaque unveiling to mark 100 years since the first qualified occupational therapist in the United Kingdom, Margaret Barr Fulton MBE. Margaret worked at The Aberdeen Royal Asylum, now Royal Cornhill Hospital, from 1925-1963. A true pioneer💚

Huge congratulations to Professor Carolyn MacDonald who has received an RCOT Fellowship. These awards recognise the remarkable achievements our dedicated members have made throughout their careers. They celebrate dedication, leadership & the lasting impact on on the occupational therapy profession.
