What a stupid comment. Charlie Kirk was not a man of violence. He was a man of kindness and compassion. The fact that the world contains people from whom we must protect ourselves requires that we have the means of self-defense is in fact true.

And that is the problem. We do not want to be the world's policemen. We've had enough of the wars on the Middle East that we so boldly went into.

I grieve with them. I've lost 17 former cadets to the Russians. But many more of my former cadets are now commanding battalions and brigades in the fight against Putin's invasion.
