While digging potatoes for our Thanksgiving dinner, I was reminded of the Thanksgiving tradition of digging potatoes with Jan's Dad and sister's families, after the meal.

.7 inches of rain over night here at Cedarstone Acres in Wilton Ontario. Our rain barrels and water tanks are all full now. The water table in the our area should be good now for everyones wells.

Still can't believe Kevin O' Learys wife didn't get charged after the boating accident in the Muskoka area that killed some one. Common sense would be you shouldn't be traveling at a planing speed after dark in a boat. It shows she was traveling way too fast to avoid objects this case another boat.

Have a good Easter weekend from Cedarstone Acres to our Family and friends.

Just finished spreading wood ashes from the wood stove on our driveway to make walking easier.

Please to see Canadians are not traveling to the USA till Trump smartens up. Which is too late after insulting our country and Prime Minister.
March 11, 2025 at 1:02 PM
Maybe our new to be Prime Minister Mark Carney can teach President Trump about economics and not needing to use tariffs against Canada.
March 10, 2025 at 10:17 AM
This house hold along with all other Canadians will not I hope buy any more American products. This new President Trump does not have any maners and is mean to his neighbors. Past Presidents were good friends to us in the past not any more.

Our Five House Cats these cold winter days are giving our Roomba Vaccum a hard time doing its job around the wood stove. They have encircled the stove enjoying that radiant wood heat it gives off.

With President Donald Trump mean mouthing Canada apparently on the news last night forty percent plus of Canadians have canceled their trips south for holidays and going elsewhere. He doesn't realize or care the damage he is doing his country just thinking of $$$$$$ not his American Citizens.

Could tell the temperature this morning would be cold. Laying in bed in a log house you can hear the logs creaking and snapping sounds as the logs expand and contract as the temperature dropped. Certainly didn't waste any time getting the wood stove fully fired up. The cats are certainly enjoying .

Even colder this Monday morning here in Wilton Ontario-15 C . Our cats and my self are by the wood stove listening to the CBC news on the no manners Donald Trump becoming the new president of the USA.

The soccer stadium should be built out by the Invista Center. Lots of space on the north side of it and there is already a parking lot.
January 15, 2025 at 11:26 AM
Our Roomba vaccum robot is not getting a chance to clean in front of the wood stove because are cats have encircled it. Even when R2 which we named it bumps into them. I have joined them in my rocking chair finishing my coffee before heading to the barn.

It's a winter wonderland out here at Cedarstone Acres in Wilton Ontario this morning. Definitely going to be a White Christmas.

Attendance was very good once again for the SAVE THE PRISON FARM group. Tonight was the last meeting after 15 years to get the farms up and running again. The Conservatives closed them down. The liberals worked with us to get them up and running again.

I love seeing the smiles on our Farm Gate Customers faces when they see our chickens and ducks when they pop in to pickup their eggs and other items we have here at Cedarstone Acres. It's like their childhood days for them when they walk over to see them.

Have gotten spoiled and use to our own tomatoes 🍅 growen in our garden. We had store bought tomatoes in our sandwiches today. They sure don't tastes the same. The store ones are hard and crunchy to stop them from being bruised during shipping. Aleast there grown in Canada.

The sun felt really nice and warm on my back this morning while cleaning the the ducks and chickens water fountain for them . It is cleaned every day for them. It doesn't take them too long to get all mucked up during the day.

The weather for this month has been fairly dry and very mild in Wilton Ontario at Cedarstone Acres. A couple of colder days forced me into my winter coveralls but back to summer coveralls. I don't have much body mass so I realy feel the cold so don't mind these milder temperatures at all.
