News! At long last my 3 apple pips have sprouted! (I passed 4 to my brother Keith for a birthday gift back in mid October when you posted them to me). I will plant them in the near future for their next stage. That took about 11 weeks in damp kitchen paper in the fridge. Hooray. Richard
