Is he suffering from circadian reversal? Is he sundowning? should Lieutenant Colonel John Doe of the Air Force hide the football? Should article 25 or impeachment be pursued? Think about it.

A thought. What is the realistic probability that any random citizen will ever be able to dance in the new Golden Trump Ballroom at the White House? Peer into it? Maybe. Dance? Practically nonexistent. Think about it.

Wow! Just finished watching the HBO series “TASK.” Outstanding series. I expect to see it rake in a bucketful of Emmy awards.

OK, time's up, Democrats in Congress. Time to confront, as small groups of two or three, the Republicans in their offices, and demand, politely but assertively, that they govern responsibly and without fealty to Trump or their primary contributors, for the survival of our democracy.
June 26, 2025 at 3:55 PM
It appears that the only way Republicans in our national congress will work to save our democracy will be if their fear of their constituents is greater than their fear of Donald Trump.
May 16, 2025 at 3:09 PM
I firmly believe that the Republicans' Big Beautiful Bill in the US House of Representatives now will benefit the billionaires of this country and devastate the middle class and poor people. It could cause over 10 million people to lose their medical coverage. It is simply outrageous, period.
May 16, 2025 at 3:03 PM
I have a really hard time believing that Trump would accept a USED airplane.

Who is the primary beneficiary of Trump’s (or Loomer’s) removal of the leaders of the NSA and some members of the NSC? Hint: V. P. No, not the vice president. Just my opinion, but think about it.
April 5, 2025 at 1:57 AM
In my opinion, Mitch McConnell shares the responsibility for our national condition of chaos now. Think about it.
March 19, 2025 at 1:11 PM
Donald Trump, given the chaos that you're representing as President, you epitomize our old saying that "If he is told to go outside and screw up, he'd screw up on the way out."

Today on his X venue, Elon Musk called Mark Kelly a traitor. In my opinion, Elon Musk is a traitor who only wants to expand his fortune by controlling major functions of the US government and make money from them. In my opinion, he has no soul and should be removed from any position of power.

As an American, I sincerely apologize to the rest of the world, and most specifically to the people of Ukraine, for the despicable behavior our president demonstrated toward Mr Valenskyy today. I hope that we continue to fully support Ukraine in its valiant effort as an independent nation.
March 1, 2025 at 4:46 AM
This administration (and its unelected head) make the Keystone Kops (historical reference) look like a finely-tuned F1 engine. They have the finesse of a drunken brontosaurus, and the integrity of flushable corn starch. The congressional Republicans should conduct a group intervention on the two.
February 16, 2025 at 2:19 AM
I'm having a slow epiphany. In my opinion (still formulating), Trump is the curtain that we need to look seriously behind. He seems to be shopping for puppetmasters--first Un, then Putin, and now Musk and the hypermonied of this country. And his denial/acceptance of the 2025 SOP is the evidence.
February 14, 2025 at 11:23 PM
In my opinion, Trump is flirting with historical reference of being the US version of Neville Chamberlain. Our support of Ukraine and its people should not be betrayed for the pseudofriendship of a murderer who is playing Trump like a cheap guitar.
February 14, 2025 at 10:20 PM
In my opinion, Trump's selection of Kennedy and Gabbard in his cabinet was a dangerous mistake. We run the risk now of being catastrophically susceptible to viruses due to the Kennedy's history of antivax leanings. And our national security is placed in significant jeopardy by Gabbard.
February 14, 2025 at 10:12 PM
I have some questions for my Senators (Cornyn and Cruz) and Congressman Roy: Do you really want Elon Musk to run our country? If so, why, and how? If not, what are you going to do to prevent it?
February 4, 2025 at 4:57 PM
In my opinion, Republican Senators who vote to confirm Kennedy, Gabbard, and/or Patel are totally emasculated by Trump (if male), fearful of political/physical retaliation from him, seeking money and power, too stupid to hold the office, or any combination of the above.
February 4, 2025 at 4:48 PM
In examining what appears to be the character and qualifications of Trump’s nominees Hespeth, Kennedy, Oz, Patel, and Gabbard, I have concluded that the “Trump Standard” is an oxymoron, at least in the cases of those nominees listed above.

The pardoning or commuting of sentences of the J6 perpetrators by Donald Trump is inexcusable. Those people were found or pleaded guilty in trials by judges or juries after exhaustive investigation and prosecution of their actions. This action is an insult to all law enforcement people.

I think I'll use this forum as a public soapbox that allows me to opinionate. I'll assume that few will read the posts and some will agree and some disagree with them. So be it. Most of my posts will be related to observations of and reactions to our current national and global issues.

And a few more opinions:
1. Congress should work together to create a logical, humane, and practical immigration system that includes all DACA residents and persons fleeing oppressive and/or dangerous regimes.
7. Ukraine deserves and should continue to have our support.
December 8, 2024 at 10:23 PM
Here are a couple more opinions of mine:
1. The Supreme Court should have a mandatory ethics requirement generated by Congress.
2. The Supreme Court's justices should not have lifetime appointments.
3. There should be a national law enabling full physical and medical rights for women.
December 8, 2024 at 10:22 PM
This is my first post on this new venue. I haven't yet bailed out of X, but eventually will, when I get less lazy. I have a couple of opinions that I'd like to initially express:
1. Citizens United should be repealed.
2. Congressional districts should be drawn by independent committees.
