Carmelo Hayes could have really used that spot, man. Gunther doesn't need it. He's already a 2-time (secondary) world title holder, and longest IC champion ever.
Side note: compare this Cena tournament to the C2 and laugh hysterically at the difference in quality. That bracket is trash. 🤣

"The rivalries and storylines really weren't there to warrant even the men's match and definitely not for the women. There little to no build to this."

Which is hilarious when you go back and watch that initial Shield run because Ambrose/Moxley was CLEARLY the most organically over guy in the group! And yet... Vince had him least important. 🤷♂️
