Homotherium is another fascinating genus of non-smilodon prehistoric cats. In North America, Homotherium was a mammoth specialist that cached caves full of young mammoth remains. They were thought to hunt in packs, and probably used their unusually long legs to run down prey instead of ambushing it.

Unlike the Smilodons (saber toothed cats), Xenosmilus didn't use oversized neck muscles to swing their teeth into a prey item's vulnerable areas. Instead, they had oversized jaw muscles, serrated teeth, and bite mechanics that allowed them to bite massive chunks from their prey.

Well, DC finally got my attention. Absolute Wonder Woman is a breath of fresh air. Diana was raised in hell by Circe after the Gods exterminated the Amazons. Devoted to Hekate, she's the ultimate Witch of War.

I really enjoyed painting this one. It's 3 overlaying paterns in acrylic monoprinted onto paper, then I pressed a smaller piece I painted on a separate plate directly onto the first one.
