This is so ass backwards. People are rejecting HP because the author rejected the values in the book.

Yeah I’m not going to engage with that nonsense.

Before seeing your post I watched a border patrol nazi in the US chastise a protester for fowl language. I associate language policing with the worst people in the world but I don’t know beyond your mostly good writing so I approached with levity and mild teasing. You need a thicker skin in your job

All I’m doing is saying, in a respectful manner, that I disagree with the priorities in your article. I’m not telling you how to parent and I didn’t think you would change your parenting based on my opinion.

When your job is to put opinions out into the world sometimes people will disagree.

And to be clear I have no issues with the violence in Avowed. I loved blasting shit with a revolver then whacking with my giant axe in that game. I just think it’s silly to prioritize protecting kids from bad words over prioritizing protecting them from being desensitized to violence.

So there is concern that while the child is not paying attention they might focus in for a second hear a stray naughty word but no concern that they might look up and see violence. I don’t know why you think that refutes my point.

Pictured: Avowed, a very violent video game. But sure let’s keep kids sensitive ear holes safe from naughty words while we blast their eyes with violence.

Around the edges of what? The giant steaming pile of shit that is the 4-15 spots on the Lakers roster. That’s what he is planning to embellish? A pile of shit.

Stop working. Start a general strike.

I don’t care what he says. Until the MPD charges the murderer and arrests them it’s all talk.

My big issue was the combat. It felt weightless and lacked impact. I also took issue with the myriad of missing QoL features. It felt like they only prioritized updating the graphics and everything else was skipped so it ended up feeling like playing an old game.

Usually when I don’t like a game I put it into the “not for me bucket” but with Total Chaos I chucked that shit into the bad dumpster. Terrible game.
December 17, 2025 at 2:45 PM
Right? It’s like I don’t have much interest in KCD2 but I can still totally understand its appeal. It seems like a great game and maybe even a perfect game for people who like boring games.

They can all go to hell too. There has never been a good president in my lifetime and there probably never will be. I don’t care about anyone who would marry those morally bankrupt assholes.

Why should I care about a building that has housed some of the most vile and destructive people to ever walk the earth?
October 23, 2025 at 9:11 PM
I could not care less. It’s a building. A building that housed a lot of evil men. I care about the people whose lives are currently being torn apart by Trump.

IGN writers complain a lot about how their review scores are perceived and have been doing so for a long time. Maybe stop giving scores?
October 23, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Do you really care about that building? I hate trump to but this just feels like the left’s version of pretending to care about Charlie Kirk.

God of War 3. Maybe it was great when it released but by the time I played it in 2024 it did not hold up at all.

The camera, the hit boxes, the lack of impact on hits, the toxic masculinity. There is so much I hated about it.

A lot of extremely profitable products have done obscene price increases in the last few years. This is most likely just greed like all those other price increases.

I can see a few games on that list that people probably don’t need to play for awards consideration.

Gaming is ubiquitous. People across the political spectrum are gamers. Extremist also tend to congregate and recruit in sports communities in the exact same way. Would you call sports a part of that culture?
September 13, 2025 at 11:39 PM
It just feels like a concession to a bad faith arguments to mention games when the games themselves are harmless. I get that gaming spaces can be a safe harbor for extremist but if the games didn’t exist they would just congregate elsewhere.
