We can test this in the context of Trump-voting evangelicals. Locally there is a charter school that teaches agriculture and discusses your climate change research. Many of the parents/board are in that cohort. I’ll let you know how they react to this and pray you are right and I am wrong.

At the same time RC Sproul and Del Tackett created the Truth Project for Focus on the Family which spread like wildfire through the evangelical church. It said both secular and even Christian scientists who were part of the ASA were of the devil. 3/

Another thing which matched my anecdotal experience was the activist class showed up and voted for Harris and harm reduction but they didn’t drag their friends to the polls because they didn’t want to hector them to vote against their conscience for either Hitler 1 or Hitler 2. In 2020 they did.

This is from the Harvard October 2024 Youth survey. Gaza was the only issue that had Trump preferred for registered voters but Harris for likely voters. Normally that’s a good thing but in this case it was signal that turnout of *Harris voters* was suppressed by the issue.

@tify330.bsky.social This matches what I saw anecdotally. The activist class of young people voted for Biden in 2020 and got their friends to follow them. In 2024 Gaza so demoralized them that this year the activist class *only* voted for Harris themselves and didn’t do the organizing.

It’s best for white people to talk with white people and talk in first person & not betray white innocence.
