I really hope so. This is such crucial infrastructure for football in our country. We need the right people making the right decisions for the right reasons to benefit everyone. A tough job. Hopefully we can collectively thread the needle.

Absolutely - Patrick Di Stefani has been a huge part of the footy community in Manitoba for years and years before Valour. He deserves all the praise for his work with the GKs that came though the club AND more!

Excellently written, Thomas. Thank you for this, well done.

Typo! Correcting!

You’re spot on, my friend

It was always on supporters & passion from the community to make things happen. God bless @redriverrising.ca & their efforts, love, talents, & support. They consistently out-marketed the club itself.

Look at that sticker below their poster.

Never quit.

It’s time to build

If you’re in the downtown area, keep an eye out for our posters! Well slowly be making our way around different areas of the city with them.

Listen. I know it’s “Tiago”, my autocorrect is fuelled by my love of Alcântara and I was too fired up to catch it.

Like, if you show up to a game and the announcer goes “Halifax goal scored by #9, Thiago….Coi…Coembray?” when they’re playing them for the fourth time at home that season… that’s going to leave an impression.
ALWAYS an afterthought.

Definitely don’t try one that starts with hes and ends with goal.

Nuh uh. Don’t do it.

(Obviously that money wasn’t FOR Valour, but you know what I mean)
November 22, 2025 at 10:35 PM
Absolutely. No one has fronted us, and then forgiven the loan of, ~$200m of public money.

Imagine what Rovers could do with that!
November 22, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Right! Oh! They would also have youth soccer nights where they would host youth clubs and they’d *charge* for it.
November 22, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Dead on. They put in the least amount of effort possible until the loans were forgiven, and then somehow put in LESS effort afterwards.

Their advertisements for the club were a mailer that was on the back of a Bombers ad, and a slide on a digital billboard or two.
