Kin Hunters President Rebecca Fisher presents Head Librarian John Ransom with a $500 check for the Hayes Presidential Library. The money will be used to purchase a book in honor of Earl J. Wammes, who was a long-time member of the Kin Hunters. Wammes died in September. Thank you, Kin Hunters!

The back parking lot and area behind the museum are open to again to vehicles and walkers after our chiller (air conditioning unit) was removed and a new one installed this morning on the museum and library building.

This blue cup and saucer from a child’s play set belonged to Fanny Hayes, daughter of Pres. Hayes, when she was a child.

This piece was recently donated to us by the Fairfield County Heritage Association and William T. Sherman House in Lancaster.

We're excited to announce we've published another book that arrived today! "The Story of Spiegel Grove: Rutherford B. Hayes, his Family, and their Home" is written by Historian Josh Dubbert and designed by Marketing/Communications Mgr Kristina Smith, who also took the photos featured in the book.

Today, 20 immigrants because official U.S. citizens during a naturalization ceremony here at the Hayes Home at Spiegel Grove during our Rutherford B. Hayes Day celebration!
We also had the annual wreath-laying by members of the U.S. military and Hayes family at President Hayes’ tomb for his bday.

What a fantastic turnout for the opening of Terra State Community College's "Sounds of Sandusky County" exhibit here at Hayes Presidential! J. Brennan Willis, Terra's director of music, liberal arts and business, gave an excellent presentation and then everyone was able to see the exhibit.
