My hot take is that most MP/MPPs aren't actually that popular as individuals and only serve as seat warmers for the party leadership

Jama was kicked for being a loose cannon, not for what she said initially

Bobbi Ann Brady shows that if you're popular you can still win without a party. Jama was never particularly popular as an individual

Jama's performance in the election shows that giving her the boot was the right call

The big banks are only really useful for businesses imo. Any personal accounts I have are in digital institutions, at least that way they can't force me into a physical branch to do something

No focus on the provinces? They tend to have the most real power when it comes to housing

The vast majority of cars made in Canadian plants are shipped to the US. As long as they keep Chinese autos out, it will never make sense to manufacture them here

I'm glad bluesky is reaching a big enough user base that now includes morons. Means the platform is growing!

Driving a Tesla doesn't help the brand or the company, so why avoid it? If anything racking up the miles just means it gets sent to the scrapyard sooner. Enjoy wasting money I guess

Surely you can't believe that all of the international student influx was from greedy administrators. Even in that extreme scenario, there would be less incentive if they were already well funded by the province and domestic tuition

It's not really to her benefit, the cost is still tacked on the property tax bill just like for anyone else. The only thing fishy is the speed at which this emergency order was issued

Trust me, it won't just be American left wingers. The world will be a happier place when this guy croaks

What about if they aren't in the middle? Those feel like a guaranteed win to me but I'm not an expert
