Over the weekend, I did something I've never done before: I prepared and ate food I'd grown myself. I harvested enough lettuce to make four bowls of salad, and added shredded cheese, croutons, and ranch dressing. Nothing fancy, but aside from the occasional bitter leaf, it was quite tasty! 🥗😋

Disney knew that as far back as 1978. 🙂

Happy Easter, from the Easter Puppies! 😄

Hey, Hollywood, how about a Micronauts Cinematic Universe? Plenty of people remember the Micronauts fondly, and I'd imagine the rights to the IP are cheap right now. Plus the Micronauts world lends itself readily to an all-CGI production, so it'd be inexpensive to produce. What do you say?
Science fiction art based on characters and vehicles from the Micronauts universe. A blue, four-armed, four-toothed, red-eyed, possibly robotic anthropomorphic ant (Antron) is standing on a pile of rubble. He is attacking unseen targets with two of the four prosthetic weapons grafted onto the end of its arms. One weapon is firing a blue laser, and the other is spitting out what appear to be flaming bullets. The other two arms end in a hook and an eye bolt. In the background, three humanoid soldiers have been knocked to the ground. A humanoid (the Force Commander) is charging towards the downed soldiers. He is wearing white power armor, complete with helmet. The helmet has tubes leading from the mouth to a backpack, presumably to supply breathable air. Another human soldier can be seen following the Force Commander. Above the Force Commander, a hornet-shaped flying vehicle (Antron's ship, the Hornetroid) is flying towards the downed soldiers, presumably to attack. The seeds we planted a few weeks ago are starting to sprout! This picture shows some of the tomato seeds we planted. Our broccoli and pepper seeds have started sprouting as well. W00T! 🙂

You're looking at the very beginning of what I hope will become the Berry family garden! Today we started off by planting tomatoes, broccoli, and both hot and sweet banana peppers. (Jonathan loves his peppers, so you can guess which ones he planted. 😀) Further bulletins as events warrant!
