Why isn’t the US like Sweden? Because we don’t fundamentally agree that everyone deserves same rights to health and opportunity. And we can study how to address that (or we could before) but we need to back science up with public health and healthcare for everyone

That US health outcomes align with a system of societal inequity and lack of universal health care coverage such that scientific breakthroughs only reach some people-AND we’re now not allowed to talk about or study the way to bridge the gaps (implementation science) to the groups who are left out
