I opened the door and talked to them and scattered seeds on the ground from the bright yellow bag, as per usual, and then waited with the door still open. The leader is now brave enough to hop down with me still there 🙌🏻

A great PNW run: PCT N from I-90 to the Mineral Creek Trail and end up at the Lake Kachess campground. 26 miles, ~3500 ft of gain. You’ll need a car drop for about 15 mi of road/freeway in between.
