you can’t take a picture of this, it’s already gone
If you thought the first one was too long get ready to think that again on a whole other level with the sequel! 😀 it’s a very good game but it’s over-stuffed with story and extra mechanics. I was exhausted playing it just 2/3 of the way through it, a problem I didn’t have with the first.

I think it was the first Carpenter film I saw, probably Ch4 in the mid-90s before I knew much about the director or King, or who Lovecraft was. It really stuck with me. I should rewatch it this Halloween season, especially now that I say Carpenter is one of my favourite living directors.

I loved Soulslikes and challenging action games for ages but suddenly I just didn't like that stress anymore. It's also why I quit multiplayer cold turkey despite that being a major time sink for years. I just want games to be like a nice binge on a novel over the weekend now. Definitely middle age.

I used to be the opposite because I loved a good 100 hour adventure that you can get lost in for weeks but nowadays I think I'm with you. That must be middle age creeping up silently.

Yeah I have that one too. It sounds great, I will probably enjoy it if like the majority of the stuff I buy but instead of starting it I'll just continue to be paralysed by choice and fret about what and when to start things indefinitely. That is the way.

You've just reminded me that I also have Demon's Souls, the Dark Souls trilogy, and FF7 Rebirth. And that's just a handful of titles amongst dozens...

Why do I do this to myself?

I really want the new Katamari but I've bought so many games in the last year and a half that have gone untouched including remasters of Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari.

I loved Inside and Limbo, both of which I've finished quite a few times. I also love puzzle games but I need them to give me the rules from the start. I got through the first few puzzles in Cocoon before deciding it was too vague and cryptic so I deleted it. I ain't got time for that.

Loving the whole thing really. I first listened to it around the time it came out but for some reason I didn’t stick with it. Now I’m repeating it like crazy. Thanks @alephg.bsky.social
