A dive watch that’s also a dress watch? And it comes in different colours? Longines Legend Diver 39mm has you covered. Retails at c.£3000 but you can definitely find it cheaper…

The Casio A168WG-9EF is proof that aura doesn’t have to always be expensive. This digital vintage banger can be picked up for around £40-60. It’s accurate, durable and can be dressed up or down. GOD TIER.

Tissot is a great entry-level watch brand. The PRX and Gentleman models get a lot of love – and rightly so. But the Heritage Visodate (c.£300 for quartz, c.£700 for automatic) on a Milanese bracelet is also an elegant pick. This watch was made to be taken on holiday to the Amalfi Coast. Do it.

PSA for anyone who enjoys nice yet affordable watches... The Citizen BM8550-81E is a hidden gem. You can pick it up (new) between £100-200. It's 42mm, but wears smaller. Eco-Drive movement is accurate and low-maintenance. See pic below, next to an Omega Aqua Terra, which retails at c.£6,000
