I have thrown them lots of peanuts in the shell. I just haven't been able to afford that for about a year. Love to put those out for the nuthatches, red bellies, and titmouse or titmices?, in a feeder as well. I like to think my yard is beneficial to wildlife.

I grew up in Michigan, I sometimes forget how straight the roads are. Ah the Midwest. I do miss the Northwoods though.
