The best part about professional golf is nothing is stopping those young players. They just have to play better to earn their spot alongside the greats of the game. #playbetterkids

Got it, so you think Danielle Kang, Stacy Lewis and Brittany Lincicome don’t deserve to play LPGA golf? Household names, major winners, etc. They made cuts last year, couple top 10s. Bonafide golf pros. You act like they can’t compete out there. You should change your handle to anti-womens pro golf.

Who specifically is more deserving of an exemption? She grew up there, is well known, $10M in earnings, multiple major winner, assist capt for 2024 Solheim Cup. Took time away to start a family and worked her way back. She will sell tickets, motivate girls, give back and be a great LPGA ambassador.

This is a really bad take. Not only did Brittany grow up nearby, she still lives there and does so much for the community and women’s golf. She can hit it as long as anyone (over 280), garnered 8 tour wins including two major championships, and played over 400 LPGA tour events. If not her, then who?

• Consider reaching out to local golf clubs or businesses to inquire about sponsorships.
• You could also approach local businesses for corporate sponsorships.

These costs are exceedingly difficult on parents. We need more funding, grants and sponsorship opportunities for junior golfers!

Here are a few ways to maybe find some financial support:
• The Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation provides financial resources specifically for junior golfers.
• The AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) also offers financial support through their Liberty National ACE Grant program.

I completely understand how challenging it can be to manage the costs associated with junior golf tournaments. It’s tough on families. Tournament costs including travel have skyrocketed in recent years. I certainly would not have been able to do all that my students and families do these days. 1/3
