"AI" could never give us real art. It can't generate anything with a soul. We keep treading down this path, the rich get richer. And we as a society will be all the poorer for it.

The book you're reading that made you tear up at the end? A PERSON wrote it. That movie you love? PEOPLE crafted it to make you feel something. That award-winning TV actor? A PERSON who knows the character and can see through the lines of the script.

Think about who wants you to use it. Companies. The rich. So they can step on the neck of real artists while lining their pockets with cash and pat themselves on the back. GenAI steals real artists work and regurgitates an inferior and soulless facsimile riddled with mistakes and inconsistencies.

Generative "AI" is the bane of art. It is not, nor ever can be "AI." It is a misnomer to fool people into thinking we are so advanced and it preys on people so desperate to live in an idyllic future. Our laws are barely equipped to handle the internet, let alone even attempt to deal with this crap.
