The northern lights made it south to St. Louis!

Red lighting highlights 2 stages currently covered up by black curtains. The effect is similar to 2 black boxes. People are seen milling about on the floor in front and around the stages as we wait for the show to begin.

When your favorite bookstore celebrates Bookstore Romance Day with flash tattoos, you bite the bullet and finally get a dragon tattoo.
A picture of my arm with a tattoo template of a dragon. Another picture of my arm, but the tattoo is now in progress. The dragon has been outlined in black ink, and smears of ink run down my arm from where my tattoo artist has wiped away the excess. The completed tattoo! A dragon in black ink with black ink shading filling in the wings and body can be seen. My skin is a little red and angry from having needles scraped through it.

A black and yellow argiope spider rests on its web, which is scaffolded onto fronds of a yucca plant. It picked a good spot, because just visible at the edges of the photo are lots of tiny little insects caught in its web.

Feels appropriate to post this again today

When I found a bathroom with these heaters at last week’s game, I knew I needed to make this happen (limited edition pin made by Sweet Tooth Enamel, who is on Instagram).
